DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
In this position, you will serve as a behavioral health policy analyst within the Division of Behavioral Health Policy. Your work will involve leading revisions of existing regulations and supporting the creation of new regulations, including both mental health services licensure regulations and behavioral health Medicaid payment regulations. You will issue regulatory waivers and conduct legislative analysis to determine impact on OMHSAS and the behavioral health system and provide this analysis to leadership.
Some of your duties will also include researching various behavioral health topics to inform policy making, as well as drafting bulletins, policy clarifications, and other policy documents. Additionally, you will collaborate with other state and federal agencies, stakeholder groups, managed care organizations, and community agencies that provide services to individuals with behavioral health needs.

WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part‑time. You will be expected to work in the office at least two days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
