What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements, focusing on timely delivery of benefits and notices
  • Develop and review management reports related to claims processes or decisions subject to legal and regulatory compliance
  • Create training programs and technical support materials to prevent legal and regulatory claim handling exposures
  • Act as a liaison to state auditors and educate colleagues regarding regulatory matters and compliance issues
  • Participate in audits and assist in developing rebuttal positions as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of claims management and/or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and claims management processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in developing training programs and managing compliance initiatives
  • Familiarity with state regulatory matters related to claims management
  • Proven track record of successful project management in a compliance setting
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and mitigate risks related to claims processes
