• Complete scheduling and registration functions for patient visits during a single call
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information while securing payment for financial liabilities
• Collect and verify required patient data for pre-registration and ensure completion of pre-certification requirements
• Manage order verification and ensure it matches scheduled procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience
• Experience in a call center or healthcare-related environment preferred
• Familiarity with scheduling and financial clearance processes preferred
• Basic typing ability and working knowledge of a Windows-based computer environment

• Two plus years of college education or completion of a related medical certification program
• Previous experience in pre-registration and/or scheduling
• Strong multitasking abilities in a production-driven environment
  
  Experience using dual computer monitors
