Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Huntsville, AL, with the option to work from home on occasion. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Additional duties involve managing nursing practices and maintaining accurate medical records to support continuity of care.
Qualifications- Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care
- Experience and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health Care and Nursing principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain patient-focused care
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Current state licensure in Alabama as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Experience in providing telehealth services is a plus
