Parkinson Voice Project is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at its headquarters in Richardson, Texas to evaluate and treat individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s and related disorders. A remote position will be considered.
The ideal candidate will be a Texas-licensed, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with at least 5 years of clinical experience and an understanding of motor learning principles.
Caring for individuals living with a chronic, degenerative condition is more than just a job… it’s a calling… and our new SLP will be sensitive to this reality and will reflect empathy throughout each patient’s journey.
Our future SLP will genuinely care about every patient’s well-being and will demonstrate through deliberate, thoughtful actions that Parkinson Voice Project is with our patients for the long haul.
This SLP will go the extra mile to help our patients, whether it’s by providing referrals, hopping on a Zoom call to educate their family, checking in on them with a simple phone call, or answering questions about swallowing disorders and cognitive challenges.

Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s and related disorders at the headquarters in Richardson, Texas; remote position will be considered.
- Provide referrals, educate families via Zoom, check in with patients by phone, and answer questions about swallowing disorders and cognitive challenges.
- Contribute to the organization’s mission of making quality speech treatment accessible to people with Parkinson’s worldwide.
- Texas-licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Understanding of motor learning principles.
This benefit-eligible position is scheduled for 32 hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday, with optional Friday hours available. The position is based at the headquarters in Richardson, Texas, with a remote option considered.
