Position: In-Community Therapist
Location: Mays Landing

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for an In-Community Therapist based in Mays Landing, NJ, with opportunities for remote work. The therapist will deliver in-home and community-based therapeutic services to youth and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches to address mental and behavioral health concerns. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and family therapy sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining detailed records.

The role requires active communication with families to support progress and ensure a youth-guided, family-centered approach to care.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting individual and family therapy as well as developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Strong skills in trauma-informed care, behavioral assessments, and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience with evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis and positive psychology techniques
  • Excellent case management and documentation abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (required)
  • Active licensure in the state of New Jersey (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with trauma-certified practices and working with neurodiverse populations is a plus
  • Reliable transportation for community-based services
