Behavioral Health Therapist - Substance Use (Finance) Work Schedule

100% FTE. Monday through Friday, primarily day shifts with at least one evening shift. This is a hybrid position with an average of three days in person and two days working remotely from home.

This position may be eligible for a $3,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE).

Behavioral Health Providers at UW Health promote well‑being, healing, and recovery.

• Provide substance use, and mental health evidence‑based treatments to adults and adolescents, with the ability to make dual diagnoses.
• Perform assessments, treatment planning, ongoing individual and group therapy, care coordination, and complete related documentation.
• Work with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and other professionals.
• Provide a mix of telehealth (work from home) and in clinic care.

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field – Required

• 2 years of experience providing evidence‑based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults – Required
• 5 years of experience providing evidence‑based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults – Preferred

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Upon Hire Required
• Licensed Professional Counselor – Upon Hire Required
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months – Required
• Substance Abuse Counselor – Upon Hire Preferred
• Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor – Upon Hire Preferred
