Position: Patient Access I - Central Scheduling Unit

Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm (no weekends or holidays). This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in a call center environment. After 4–6 months of training, the employee will be able to work in a hybrid/remote position.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Experience

Experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient access and registration or call center experience, 2–3 years preferred.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented setting.
