Clinicians, Independent Contractors

This is a contract role for Clinicians as Independent Contractors with Avenues for Change, LLC. Clinicians will provide client-centered, trauma-informed therapy sessions tailored to each individual’s needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapeutic services, maintaining proper documentation, and collaborating with other professionals as necessary. This is a hybrid role based in Great Bend, KS, with the flexibility for some work-from-home responsibilities.

Additional offices in Dodge City, KS and Manhattan, KS.

• Experience in mental health counseling, therapy, or clinical social work
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions
• Ability to work with diverse populations using strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approaches
• Effective verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities, maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
• Licensed or license-eligible as a mental health professional in the state of Kansas (e.g., LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)
• Familiarity with teletherapy and virtual treatment platforms (preferred)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
