Who We Are
The Positive Emotion and Psychopathology Lab () is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and students under the directorship of Dr. June Gruber who work together towards understanding positive emotional processes and their relevance for understanding adaptive and maladaptive relevant psychological-health outcomes. Our research uses a multi-modal affective science approach to understand positive emotion and reward-related difficulties in psychopathology. Her work examines perturbations in positive valence systems in clinical populations characterized by positive emotion difficulties (e.g., bipolar disorder and depression) as well as across other clinical phenomenon and in healthy community samples of adults.
