Patient Access Representative - Remote

• Serve as the initial contact for patients and customers, both in-person and via telephone
• Complete financial clearance activities prior to patient arrival at any facility
• Schedule appointments, complete referrals, and authorize visits
• Provide exceptional customer service to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers
• Assist with pre-registration and registration processes

• Must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a computer and telephone
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum educational requirement:
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• No specific certifications or licenses are required
• No prior experience is required, but knowledge of medical insurance is a plus

• Successful completion of a vocational technical health unit coordinator, medical office specialist, or medical secretary program
• Completion of a medical terminology course
• One year of experience in a healthcare facility, including direct patient contact and customer service
