Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Solutions Consultant that will provide end-to-end solution management for pharmacy automation and outpatient pharmacy portfolio. This role will ensure customer experience is a priority from pre-sales to post implementation. The role will consult with customers on the best way to implement and optimize retail, ambulatory, and long-term care pharmacy automation solutions.

- Excels in a fast-paced healthcare sales-support role
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, including both LTC based as well as care continuum medication management and supply chain processes. Has thorough knowledge of pharmacy and materials management practice/workflows, and BD’s pharmacy automation dispensing solution.
- Maintains deep solution expertise for the outpatient and long-term care pharmacy specialties.
- A background in retail/outpatient pharmacy operations/workflow design is a must. Long-term care experience preferred.
- Expertly performs complex customer current state assessment and creates a compelling future state case to meet customer’s strategic objectives/vision. Ensures customer strategic goals and implementation of solutions are aligned across the business.
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with team members (internal and external) to drive alignment on recommendations and proposed solutions. Engages appropriate implementation resources to support successful implementation based on customer stated goals and objectives. Remains point of contact through the completion of the engagement.

- Handles multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and is productive working independently in remote office situations.
- Exhibits a bias toward action, is self-motivated, and a self-starter.
- Mentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practices.
- Provides sales consultation and workflow analysis of existing processes within the medication management and supply chain systems, specifically in the areas of outpatient and long-term care pharmacy services. Identifies current areas of inefficiencies, patient/provider safety concerns, revenue augmentation, cost reduction, regulatory non-compliance, and drug diversion opportunities. Performs workflow redesign with practice change recommendations and accompanying BD solutions to facilitate achievement of industry standard processes and customer strategic goals.
- Provides clinical consulting support primarily for sales to develop customer specific strategic BD solution roadmaps. Remains engaged through customer lifecycle as strategic point of contact.
