Exciting opportunity for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work providing psycho‑pharmacology services on the Urgent Care team in a community health center.

Responsibilities:

• Direct patient care including evaluations and follow‑up treatment.
• Consultation with primary care providers and other behavioral health clinicians co‑located on the Urgent Care team.
• Development of team‑based workflows and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Experience with out‑patient and after‑care of mental health patients; addiction medicine / substance abuse experience.
• Specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects, alone and with other medications.
• Knowledge of DSM‑IV manual for classification of mental disorders and dual diagnosis experience.
• MA License.
• DEA license.
• Experience working in an integrated setting.
