The Centralized Intake - Mental Health Professional (MHP) uses their skill and experience related to mental health support services to screen members for services and admission to Telecare programs throughout the service area. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as outpatient behavioral health providers, medical providers, housing resources and other community supports.

On-Call | Shifts, varies as needed: DAYS (07:00-15:00) / NOC (23:00-07:00) / SWING (23:00-07:00) | Days, varies as needed: will be primarily Friday-Sunday

May require occasional holiday coverage.

Expected starting wage range is $38.54- $40.40. The full wage range goes up to $48.08. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and working towards licensure
• Meet the qualification of MHP for the State of Washington, or qualified as an MHP and SUDP (Substance Use Disorder Professional) for the State of Washington

Qualified Mental Health Professional (MHP) recognized and registered by the State of Washington and a psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP), or social worker as defined in chapters 71.05 and 71.34 RCW. A person who is licensed by the department of health as a mental health counselor or mental health counselor associate, marriage and family therapist, or marriage and family therapist associate.

A person with a master’s degree or further advanced degree in counseling or one of the social sciences from an accredited college or university who has at least two years of experience in direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance, that was gained under the supervision of a mental health professional and is recognized by the department.

Two (2) years of experience in behavioral health as an MHP assessing level of criteria for admission and completing intake for behavioral health facility
