Role Description
The GME Program Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of a Graduate Medical Education residency or fellowship program, ensuring compliance with organizational and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing program documentation, tracking trainee progress, and facilitating communication among staff, faculty, and trainees. Full scope of role to be discussed. This is a full-time hybrid flex role based in Orlando, FL, with some remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of a Graduate Medical Education residency or fellowship program, ensuring compliance with organizational and accreditation standards
- Coordinate program schedules
- Manage program documentation
- Track trainee progress
- Facilitate communication among staff, faculty, and trainees
- Discuss full scope of role and expectations with stakeholders as needed
- Proficiency in Program Management and Program Development to effectively oversee, organize, and enhance GME programs
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for managing interactions with residents, faculty, and external stakeholders
- Experience in Project Management to coordinate tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure program compliance
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with accreditation requirements and medical education systems is beneficial
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology such as New Innovations, ACGME ADS, NRMP, ERAS, etc. to ensure compliance of duty hours, evaluation compliance, and other data management for accreditation purposes
