Savvy Speech Therapy is a boutique private practice located in the Inland Empire, California, serving areas like Fontana, Rialto, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and surrounding regions. We offer speech and language services in-person, in-home, and virtually, providing personalized and evidence-based therapy to optimize outcomes for our clients. Focused on the pediatric population aged 0-18, we specialize in addressing speech sound disorders, language delays/impairments, fluency disorders, apraxia of speech, Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

Additionally, we conduct parent workshops and professional development programs to support our community and educators.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) located in Ontario, California. The SLPA will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy to pediatric clients, supporting children with various speech and language needs, including but not limited to articulation, language impairments, and fluency disorders. Daily responsibilities include implementing therapy plans under the direction of an SLP, documenting session progress, preparing materials, and assisting with assessments.

The SLPA will collaborate with caregivers, educators, and therapists to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and skills in Speech Therapy and articulation techniques
  • Understanding of communication disorders and experience in treating children with these challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and professionals
  • Must hold an SLPA license or certification as required by California state regulations
  • Ability to carry out therapy plans designed by a licensed SLP with attention to detail and professionalism
  • Passion for working with the pediatric population and commitment to evidence-based practices
  • Experience in home-based or virtual therapy is a plus
