Position SummaryWe are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outreach Manager to expand referral partnerships and strengthen community presence throughout California. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with healthcare providers, behavioral health professionals, treatment centers, hospitals, EAPs, community organizations, and other referral sources to drive admissions to our virtual IOP program.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of outreach, business development, or marketing experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or related healthcare settings and is passionate about increasing access to quality addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute outreach strategies to generate qualified referrals across California
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners including therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, detox centers, residential programs, primary care providers, and community organizations
- Conduct virtual and in-person meetings (as needed) to present program offerings and clinical value
- Track outreach activities, referral data, and pipeline progress in CRM systems
- Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth referral-to-admission transitions
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry meetings (as applicable)
- Monitor market trends and identify new partnership opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of addiction treatment best practices and virtual care regulations
- 2–4 years of experience in outreach, business development, marketing, or admissions within behavioral abuse treatment, or healthcare
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and levels of care (detox, residential, PHP, IOP, OP)
- Established professional network in California behavioral health community preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Experience using CRM systems and tracking performance metrics
- Must reside in California
- Experience working with virtual treatment programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field
