Position: PMO Director / Program Operations Manager (REMOTE ROLE)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide senior-level operational leadership for health transformation initiatives funded by state or federal grants
  • Manage day-to-day program execution, including grant administration, compliance tracking, and stakeholder engagement
  • Establish and maintain integrated project schedules and documentation workflows to ensure timely delivery of program activities
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring role clarity and compliance understanding
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for state agencies and federal partners, ensuring documentation is audit-ready
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health policy, health administration, or related field;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing large state or federally funded health-related grant programs
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams in compliance-driven environments
  • Experience coordinating procurement lifecycle activities within public-sector or healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of state health systems or safety-net provider networks preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience supporting CMS, CDC, HRSA, or other federally funded health initiatives
  • Experience establishing and administering Program Management Office (PMO) structures
  • Familiarity with Medicaid programs and rural health environments
  • Experience maintaining tracking systems in audit-visible environments
