What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide senior-level operational leadership for complex health transformation initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day program execution across grant administration, procurement support, and compliance tracking
  • Establish and maintain integrated project schedules, risk registers, and documentation workflows
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring clarity in roles and compliance expectations
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for state and federal partners, ensuring documentation is audit-ready
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health policy, health administration, public administration, or related field required;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing state or federally funded health-related programs
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance-driven environments with organizations like CMS, CDC, or HRSA
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex implementation efforts
  • Strong understanding of state health systems or Medicaid programs preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience establishing and administering Program Management Office (PMO) structures
  • Familiarity with procurement lifecycle activities and contract oversight within public-sector settings
  • Knowledge of rural health environments or safety-net provider networks
  • Experience maintaining reporting and documentation systems in audit-visible environments
