Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Virtual Psychiatry Online Job Opening for Employment

We at Telepsych Health are looking for a personable, energetic, self‑motivated licensed psychiatric physician assistant (PA) who is interested in coming on board to continue a fulfilled career. We are a private practice providing telepsychiatric services to individuals in Illinois, Florida, California, Minnesota, Texas, New York and other states.

Since this is a telepsych/virtual position, you would work from home. The patients will be located in their own homes during the appointments.

This is for a W2 full‑time employee position with benefits. You would have the support of intake, benefit verification, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, authorizations. You would be working closely with a team consisting of a psychiatrist, professional counselor, clinical social worker, and a marriage and family therapist.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Carrying out medication management and psychotherapy services in accordance to state and national regulations
• Maintain the schedule of all your active clients
• Complete timely appointment notes that comply with insurance contracts
• Operate and troubleshoot your own technology (such as computer, software, EHR)
• Collaborate with other providers of the practice

• If you are currently credentialed by most insurance companies, you would start at 30 hrs per week for 4 weeks then increase to 40 hrs per week thereafter. If you are not credentialed by insurance, your starting hours would be determined by when the insurance credentialing completes.
• The patients would be seeing you from their homes, not from a clinic or hospital.
• Average age of patients is around 20-45, but ranges from 18 to 65.
• EHR we use is ChARM, and is very easy to use, extremely reliable, and web‑based. It includes a patient portal, scheduling, all‑in‑one.
• New patient appointments are 55 minutes, follow up appointments: 25 minute sessions.
• Interest in psychotherapy is a plus.
• Pay is based on face‑to‑face time with patients.

• Applicants must have an independent and unrestricted PA license in the state of Illinois or California and at least 1 year of experience in the field.
• Hold a current license in Illinois, California, Texas or New York, with a clean license history.
• You must own a computer with camera, subscribe to high speed internet, and have a private, well‑lit office to see patients.
• Ability to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Willing to consent to a background check.
• Some evening and/or weekend availability is required.
