We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Bariatric Coordinator to join our medical and endoscopic weight loss team! You will be providing information to patient inquiries regarding the weight loss services options, schedules consultations and ensuring all new patient documents are complete prior to appointment. Obtain and document all required information e.g. demographics and medical histories. Maintain follow up contact with patients based on physician input and guidelines.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.

• Promptly address all patient leads (calls and website inquires) and document follow up
• Educate patients on weight loss options and schedule eligible patients for further evaluation and discussion
• Document and communicate with physicians details of all patient contacts
• Receive and complete all information required for new patients.
• Obtain and document required information e.g. demographics, contact information and medical histories
• Coordinate scheduling of office visits, tele visits and weight loss procedures
• Maintain follow up contact with patients based on physician input and guidelines
• Educate patients on weight loss coaching program

• Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Bilingual (Spanish) REQUIRED
• Previous eCW experience a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
