• Review outpatient medical records and clinical documentation to provide feedback to providers
• Validate accurate code assignment from medical records in accordance with Official Coding Guidelines
• Conduct daily professional fee quality audits to ensure compliance with State & Federal regulations
• Provide education and training sessions for providers and coders based on audit findings
• Communicate directly with site coding management regarding documentation trends and audit feedback

• Must have a Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• Minimum of 3 years of outpatient professional fee coding experience
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT coding, and Evaluation and Management
• Strong understanding of physician and mid-level provider documentation guidelines
• Ability to provide detailed feedback and educational support to providers and coders

• Experience in a teaching facility or academic medical center
• Familiarity with coding trends and documentation improvement practices
• Previous experience conducting educational sessions or training for healthcare providers
• Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations in medical coding
