What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Review and screen credentialing applications for compliance with regulations and guidelines
  • Conduct primary source verification and validate documents to ensure credentialing accuracy
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues that may affect credentialing processes
  • Maintain and update data in the credentialing database
  • Prepare reports and verifications required by regulatory and accrediting agencies
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, medical office, or healthcare environment required
  • 1-2 years of credentialing or accreditation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical provider credentialing principles and hospital operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with credentialing and accreditation policies and procedures
  • Skill in managing confidential information with independent judgment
  • Strong information research skills
