A company is looking for a Professional Fee Abstractor-Home Office.

Key Responsibilities Ensure timely abstraction of charges for all applicable patient encounters Report abstracted charges via EPIC EHR and other approved methods Maintain knowledge of coding principles and communicate with physicians regarding documentation guidelines

Required Qualifications CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT certification required High School Graduate Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology preferred Participation in ongoing education and training relevant to medical specialties Knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
