Role Description

This is a full-time position located in Claremont, NH, for a Child and Adolescent Clinician. In this role, you will work directly with children, teens, and their families to provide mental health support through individual and family therapy sessions. You will assess clients' needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and utilize evidence-based practices to help clients manage and overcome mental and behavioral challenges.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and ongoing communication with family members, schools, and other care providers will be integral to the role. This position has 20% remote work capacity.

West Central Behavioral Health (WCBH) is a nonprofit community mental health provider committed to improving the quality of life in Sullivan County and the Upper Valley. Established in 1977, WCBH offers comprehensive behavioral health services across all age groups, including outpatient care, emergency assistance, case management, residential, and continuing care services, regardless of individuals' ability to pay. Dedicated to evidence-based practices, ethical conduct, and community collaboration, WCBH values the dignity and individuality of every person we serve.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in therapeutic techniques for children and adolescents, including individual and family therapy
  • Ability to assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and adapt methods based on evidence-based practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Organizational and case management skills to document progress efficiently and ensure quality care delivery
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health clinician in the state of New Hampshire
  • Experience in community mental health, trauma-informed care, or similar environments is a plus
  • Commitment to empathy, cultural competence, and client-centered approaches
