The Opportunity

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, APRN, or Physician Assistant to provide direct psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role combines clinical expertise with a patient-centered, trauma-informed approach to care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated treatment and high-quality outcomes across telehealth and in-person care models.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management, including initiation and ongoing monitoring of psychotropic medications and medication-assisted treatments (MAT) such as buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Vivitrol
  • Deliver care in compliance with evidence-based practices and within scope of licensure
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to support integrated behavioral health care
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and recovery goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR consistent with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as required
  • Stay current with best practices in psychiatric and addiction medicine through continuing education
Why Join Pathfinder Recovery

  • Clinical technology that reduces administrative burden, including AI-supported records and biometric-informed insights
  • Direct supervision and support from experienced clinical leadership
  • Ongoing professional development in clinical practice and emerging behavioral health technology
  • Work within a forward-thinking, innovation-driven organization committed to transforming lives
Requirements

What You Bring

Required:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted New Hampshire licensure as a PMHNP, APRN, or PA-C, in good standing with the applicable licensing board
  • Active DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances, including buprenorphine, or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Active registration with the New Hampshire Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Compliance with all New Hampshire state licensing, prescribing, and scope-of-practice requirements, including biennial license renewal and ongoing CE requirements for opioid prescribing and substance use disorders
  • Ability to engage patients effectively and promote treatment adherence through trauma-informed, person-centered, and recovery-oriented approaches
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within an interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Consistent, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation meeting organizational, payer, and regulatory standards including HIPAA and applicable behavioral health regulations

Compensation and Schedule

$70.00 to $80.00 per hour. Part-time, up to 10 hours per week with opportunity for growth. Fully remote with flexible scheduling.

If you want to combine your clinical expertise with the most advanced tools in behavioral health and be part of a team committed to real outcomes, we invite you to apply.
