• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions

• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

• Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant totheir specialty

Education:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics)
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Active and unencumberedadvanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Idaho
• National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners[AANP])
• Active and unencumberedphysician assistant (PA) license in Idaho
• National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefercandidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

• Locum tenens APPpositions are temporary assignments, often lasting weeks ormonths, to address staffing shortages in hospitals, surgicalcenters or other healthcare facilities
• These positions offer competitive pay and flexible schedules, allowing APPs to pursuediverse work environments and control their workload
