What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Review, analyze, and validate CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and charges for compliance with regulations
- Assist the Supervisor in daily operations of coding teams, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
- Define and submit coding/edit rules to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct professional fee billing integrity reviews and audits to identify compliance opportunities
- Act as a liaison for external audits, organizing the process and implementing necessary changes
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- CPC Certification required upon hire
- Minimum of two years prior experience in professional fee coding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of multiple coding specialties
- Experience with provider professional fee coding and charge processing
- Familiarity with LEAN management skills
