What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead and continuously improve safety programs to reduce workplace risks and enhance employee engagement
  • Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions for safety improvements
  • Coach leaders and employees on safety principles, compliance, and best practices
  • Conduct site visits to assess practices, ensure OSHA compliance, and mitigate hazards
  • Maintain accurate safety records and report metrics, trends, and recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in safety and compliance
  • Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and other State or Federal programs
  • Experience or education in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, and/or Industrial Safety and Health
  • Strong communication skills for coaching and collaboration with team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Additional certifications in safety management or related fields
  • Experience in the food production industry or related sectors
  • Familiarity with safety training and employee engagement initiatives
  • Proven track record of improving workplace safety culture
  • Ability to analyze safety data and trends effectively
