Remote SNF Billing Specialist

Full-Time | Skilled Nursing Experience Required

SNF Solutions is a nationwide, full-service billing and consulting firm focused exclusively on Skilled Nursing Facilities. We are seeking a full-time Remote SNF Billing Specialist who can step into an active billing environment and operate independently from day one.

This role is specifically for experienced Skilled Nursing Facility billers. It is not an entry-level position, and it is not intended for candidates who require training in SNF billing fundamentals or system navigation.

We are looking for professionals who know the work, understand the revenue cycle, and can take ownership of their responsibilities immediately.

The ideal candidate has recent, hands‑on experience managing the SNF billing cycle from start to finish and is confident working independently in a remote environment.

• Full‑cycle SNF billing (claim generation through collections)
• Medicare (Part A &
  
  B)
• Medicaid (multi‑state strongly preferred)
• Managed Medicaid
• Commercial / Managed Care Insurance
• Co‑insurance processing
• Denial review and resolution
• Timely filing management
• AR follow‑up and collections
• Cash posting and contractual adjustments
• Active participation in month‑end close and AR reconciliation
• Navigating and submitting claims through multiple payer portals
• Hand‑keying claims directly into portals when necessary

Candidates should have owned the billing process end‑to‑end, rather than working in a limited or segmented role.

• Point Click Care  (PCC)
• DDE (Direct Data Entry)
• Clearinghouses for claim submission
• Insurance and managed care web portals

You should be comfortable working in these systems without training and be able to rate your proficiency at an advanced level. Familiarity with Net Solutions, AHT, My Ability – Ability, and Availity is a plus.

Compensation is based on depth of experience and demonstrated capability.
