The Division of Adult Institutions is currently recruiting to fill a Psychologist Supervisor position, located at Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the overall administration of the Psychological Services Unit. The Psychologist Supervisor is responsible for the development, administration, supervision and coordination of all psychological services programs within the facility. They supervise the Psychological Services Unit staff; provide direct services to persons in our care; provide consultation to institution administration and staff; and provide training for staff development.
They administer the psychological services unit to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and program standards; and also manage an Affidavit Action Plan and Health and Safety program within the assigned responsibility areas.
This position is in pay schedule/range 81-02 with a starting salary between $48.87 and $56.82 per hour. Pay on appointment may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A two-year Career Executive trial period is required.
Additional PayEmployees in possession of a Doctorate of Psychology (or equivalent) may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $6.00 per hour.
Employees in possession of a permanent License to practice Psychology may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $5.00 per hour.

Job DetailsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment. The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
This position is eligible for remote work up to 2x/week.
QualificationsSPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Applicants must possess a current permanent Psychologist license granted by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
