EHS Consultant

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant, based in the Greater Boston area. You will support clients in developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental Health and Safety programs tailored to their specific needs. Responsibilities include conducting site audits, identifying health and safety risks, providing guidance on regulatory compliance, and delivering training sessions. While some work-from-home flexibility is available, on-site presence for client engagements will be required.

• Knowledge and expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health
• Previous experience as a consultant is a prerequisite
• Experience conducting audits and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations
• Strong working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in identifying and mitigating safety risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and teams
• Ability to work collaboratively in both on-site and remote settings
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Safety, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Ability to self-start - this position operates independently and autonomously the majority of the time
