Zone Consideration
Although this is a fully remote position, the psychologist will primarily serve patients located in the Pacific Time Zone. Applicants should either be based in or near the Pacific Time Zone, or be comfortable seeing patients during Pacific Time afternoon and evening hours.
About The JobThe Psychologist is responsible for treatment planning, assessments, appropriate documentation of clinical progress, and the delivery of evidence‑based therapy modalities and interventions to meet the needs of individuals and families. In addition, the Psychologist can lead group sessions, educational workshops, and work closely with the clinical team in helping each patient reach their optimal health and assuring a streamlined coordination of care.
In applicable settings with appropriate licensure, Psychologist will conduct in‑depth psychological assessments to support accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment planning, along with managing psychiatric medications in collaboration with our healthcare team.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Patient‑centered, outcomes‑based, evidence‑based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families aged 12 years and older.
- Collaboration with other behavioral health and medical clinicians for integrated continuity of care for patients.
- Administer and interpret a range of psychological tests (e.g., cognitive, personality, neuropsychological), compile, analyze, and communicate assessment results in detailed reports, ensuring findings are accurate, reliable, and tailored to support personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to provide diagnostic feedback and recommendations.
- In states where there are prescribing privileges, psychologist may prescribe and manage psychiatric medications (when credentialed/licensed for prescriptive authority) or make recommendations for psychotropic medication adjustments.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating with therapists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Using computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office suite.
- Timely completion of documentation within EMR.
- Work to address other social needs of patients and utilize appropriate external and/or internal referral sources for specialty care, hospitalization, or advanced psychiatric assessments and treatments.
- Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) required. Additional certification or licensure for medication management, as applicable. For virtual positions, it is strongly recommended to be a part of PsyPACT. - Experience in providing telehealth services and strong skills in virtual communication, clinical documentation, and evidence‑based interventions are required.
- Current and unrestricted state licensure.
- Experience in providing counseling and mental health services, which may include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment of mental illness, and other psychological issues, required.
