Speech Therapist, Part time

Job Summary

Speech Therapist – Part‑time (3 days per week) in the Rehabilitation Department at City of Hope.

8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday–Friday (three days per week). Remote work not available.

• Conducts individualized comprehensive care for patients, providing dysphagia rehabilitation and speech therapy in both hospital and clinical settings.
• Develops and implements treatment plans based on thorough assessment and written evaluation, tailored to each patient’s medical condition to maximize functional outcomes.
• Utilizes therapeutic interventions, innovative technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient recovery.

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an ASHA‑approved school.
• Current temporary license or passing the state licensure examination.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC).
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2years of oncology hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of modified barium swallow study.
