Location:
Bridgewater, VA. As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert, you will be the first point of contact for patients needing home healthcare services. The role is remote in a high-volume call center environment and involves handling approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day from providers, referral sources and patients. You will collect clinical and demographic information and enter it into the Care Centrix portal.

Salary: $30.00 - $52.00 per hour

- Provide empathetic customer service as the first point of contact for patients and callers, handling basic information requests and more complex inquiries with patience.
- Handle a high-volume workflow in a remote call center, averaging 60-65 inbound calls per day from providers, referral sources and patients.
- Collect clinical and demographic information and enter data accurately into the Care Centrix portal.
- Demonstrate excellent empathy and patience when dealing with difficult callers or complex requests.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA/PHI.
- Strive to meet or exceed individual performance goals in Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other contact center metrics.
- Collaborate with team members who bring a positive attitude and contribute to a productive work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the healthcare or medical industry with medical terminology.
- Ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications.
- Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 30 WPM, data entry while actively listening).
- Proficiency with search engines and basic computer navigation (opening a browser, bookmarking, back/forward navigation).
- Basic PC skills with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams for communication and meetings.
