• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Obtained from an accredited program, fulfilling Illinoiss educational requirements.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Illinois State Licensure: Must hold current Illinois licensure or be eligible for licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist.
• Professional Educator License (PEL): With an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology, required to work in Illinois schools.
• Experience: Two (2) years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
