Radiology Technologist

Position Title

Radiology Technologist – Full‑Time – Suffolk, VA

Suffolk, VA

First (Days)

Clinic hours – Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekends may be available. Part‑time 16 hours per week.

Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients under the direction of a qualified physician, including:

• Positioning patients for correct anatomy/pathology demonstration
• Operating radiation‑producing equipment
• Operating the electronic radiology systems
• Preparing patient rooms, equipment, and medications

Phlebotomy competency may be required for sites that also provide lab services.

• Registry‑eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT; must be registered within 90 days of hire.
• Licensed radiology technologist required for staff employed in Virginia.
