We contract with 1099 therapists who are clinically licensed in Alaska plus additional states, who provide therapy and support to clients (students) using the Timely Care platform.

Mental Health Counseling is part of a broad range of Timely Care's digital health services extended to members of higher education, primarily college students. As a licensed clinical therapist with Timely Care, you will offer therapy for the students we serve, partner with them to identify needs, collaborate and develop treatment plans, and guide them to other appropriate Timely Care services (Medical, Psychiatry, etc.).

We have a mental health team that consists of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Professional Counselors (LPC/LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Clinical Psychologists (LP/LCP).

Location: Timely Care’s primary location is Fort Worth, Texas. This is a remote position, reviewing candidates licensed in AK.

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Preferred:
  Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
• Active State License(s) in AK, plus additional licenses as a plus
• Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
• Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment

• Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
• Document concurrently and submit HIPAA-compliant documentation using Timely Care's electronic health record
• Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
• Communicate cross-functionally with other teams/departments to support care continuation as needed
• Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics

• Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
• Utilize active listening skills and evidence-based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress client care
• Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (Timely Care platform) in a punctual manner
• Be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
• Remain calm and maintain composure during potential high-stress scenarios
• Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are
• Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff
