This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to excel in a complex, team‑oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge while working from home.
- Screen orders, specialize in research, review and entry of prescription overrides.
- Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner.
- Direct questionable prescriptions to prescriber for clarification.
- Meet specified production and quality standards as defined by management.
- Perform other pharmacy functions as required.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides.
- Must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
- Texas requires an active state technician license.
- Florida requires an active state technician license.
- Pennsylvania requires an active state technician license.
- Illinois requires an active state technician license AND national certification (must be marked certified on state Illinois license).
- Minimum of 1 year related pharmacy technician experience.
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Secure and private room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic‑friendly work area.
- Own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
- Proof of direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of computer and a minimum speed of 25

Wi‑Fi and satellite are not permitted. - Data entry experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs.
- Rapid keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Able to understand and interpret Latin symbols commonly used on prescriptions medications and write routing correspondence.
- Recognizing, identifying, and having general knowledge of commonly used generic drugs.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate dosages and day‑supply prescriptions.
- Ability to work using multiple computer screens/monitors for extended periods of time.
- Proficient at troubleshooting computer issues.
- Education:
verifiable high school diploma or GED required.
- Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience.
- Rapid keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Able to understand and interpret Latin symbols commonly used on prescriptions medications and write routing correspondence.
- Recognizing, identifying, and having general knowledge of commonly used generic drugs.

Work HoursHours are 9:00‑5:30p.m. local time; shifts are Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays 7:00‑3:30p.m. local time (subject to change). Overtime/extended work weeks will be required when needed.
Location and EligibilityPosition is work‑from‑home with training completed virtually. Candidates must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas and hold an active pharmacy technician license in that state. Illinois requires national certification in addition to state license.
CompensationPay range $17.00 – $28.46 per hour or equivalent base salary. Pay will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible for bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
