Physical Therapy Assistant

Role Overview

Sentara Therapy Center Great Bridge is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a full‑time day shift position with great benefits.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. You may assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. You will provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers, supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• RQI American Heart Association (AHA)
