Carolina East Health System in New Bern, NC, is seeking a Coding Specialist to perform technical and administrative work reviewing, abstracting, and assigning medical codes for diagnoses and procedures. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, two years of coding experience, and certification from AHIMA or AAPC. The role requires strong knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT coding, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
