Position: Speech Language Pathologist (Caseload Cap!) $10k Sign-on Bonus - Tennessee

SLPs are the backbone of school-based healthcare. You're managing complex caseloads, navigating documentation systems, and fighting for adequate planning time while delivering evidence-based care. At Thrive, we eliminate the administrative burden so you can focus on what you love: helping students communicate.

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K-12 with language disorders, articulation delays, fluency concerns, voice disorders, and complex communication needs. You collaborate with special education teams, general educators, parents, and related services providers to create inclusive, data-driven intervention plans.

Special Position Structure:
The Hybrid Mobile Clinic Model

At Thrive, we are completely redefining the provider experience through our premium, innovative Mobile Clinic Model. This position is designed to grant our clinicians the ultimate balance of professional autonomy and lifestyle freedom:

  • 95% Remote Telehealth Liberty:
For 28 days out of the month, you operate completely from the comfort of your own home office using our cutting-edge digital clinical platforms.
  • The 2-Day Intensive Travel Impact:
Just one time per month, you will travel to Cocke County for two back-to-back days of localized intensive therapy. This requires only one single overnight stay per month, and our corporate team completely comp and covers 100% of your travel, flights, lodging, and local expenses.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessment tools to determine eligibility for services under IDEA, Section 504, and state standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans with measurable, functional, and academically relevant goals.
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication domains.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, treatment effectiveness, and session data.
  • Collaborate with special education, general education, and administrative staff to embed language-learning strategies across the school day.
  • Participate actively in IEP/ARD meetings and contribute clinical expertise to placement, progress monitoring, and eligibility decisions.
  • Maintain ASHA-compliant caseloads and ensure adherence to state and federal special education regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.
  • Valid, unrestricted state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
  • Proof of immunization status and background check clearance per school district requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks.
  • Experience with AAC and assistive technology.
  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish or other languages highly valued).
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive W-2 salary: $71,750‑$96,760 based on credentials, experience, and location.
  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) effective your first day.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • 10 days PTO + paid sick leave.
  • Professional development stipend ($1,000‑$2,000 annually) for CEUs, conferences, and certifications.
