Position: Behavior Technician - Paid RBT Training

Overview

Comprehensive Autism Center (CAC) is hiring Behavior Therapists (BT) to train and become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). We provide center-based and home-based services in Southern California and are looking for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one, behaviorally‑based therapy to children with autism and developmental delays in center‑based and home‑based settings.
  • Follow a structured, research‑based curriculum tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Participate in online and hands‑on training, receiving mentorship from experienced BCBAs.
  • Use hand‑held technology for real‑time data collection.
  • Work part‑time (up to 29 hours per week) with potential to transition to full‑time.
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to working with CAC and the families served.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Entry‑level position with willingness to learn and grow.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to both center‑based and home‑based locations.
  • Clear background checks (fingerprint and FBI/DOJ).
  • Proof of TB clearance.
  • Experience working with children (required).
