Pharmacy Technician
Anew Health is a leading pharmacy care management company that provides comprehensive services for patients with complex, chronic needs across the United States.
Responsibilities- Receive electronic prescriptions, weekly batches or refill requests and accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Perform pharmacy tasks such as handling, counting, mixing, and packaging medications.
- Enter minor edits to records to ensure correct dispensing quantity and manufacturer NDC.
- Carry out reclamation duties and use pharmacy software to check and record prescription data.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, providers, and pharmacies; manage incoming phone calls and messages to answer questions and process orders.
- Establish and maintain patient profiles and medication care plans in the proprietary software system.
- Ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality of operations, and participate in company quality initiatives.
- Secure information in accordance with HIPAA and company privacy guidelines.
- Provide enrollment support for new PACE enrollees and communicate benefit information to network pharmacies.
- Coordinate facility discharges and medication reconciliations, ensuring timely delivery to home.
- Offer help‑desk support to network pharmacies and educate PACE staff on CK and network pharmacy processes.
- Make outgoing calls to confirm information, process requests, monitor delivery status, and gather necessary data.
- Coordinate and schedule couriers for medication delivery.
- Perform any other duties as required to support pharmacy operations.
- High level of integrity, quality‑orientation, innovation, and steadiness.
- High school diploma required.
- Must be registered or eligible to become registered with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and other proprietary software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong patient‑centered focus and ability to interact professionally with employees, clients, and agency representatives.
- Effective phone communication skills.
- Understanding of clinical terms and their impact.
- Superior multitasking and prioritization abilities while maintaining quality.
- Detail oriented and organized.
This administrative position requires hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. The role may require commuting to multiple site locations within the assigned territory and working extended hours as needed.
ScheduleFull‑time: 3:30pm – 12:00am ET, Tuesday through Saturday. Rotating weekend and holiday schedules are required up to four times a year or as needed. The position is remote.
