Job Title: Profee Neuro/Vascular Medical Coder

We are seeking an experienced Professional Neuro/Vascular Coder to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding complex neurovascular procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with official coding guidelines, payer requirements, and organizational standards.

• Review and analyze clinical documentation for neurovascular procedures, including interventional radiology, neurosurgery, and vascular neurology cases.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with official guidelines and facility policies.
• Perform charge capture and validate coding for correct reimbursement and compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and revenue cycle team members to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer rules, and neurovascular‑specific procedures.
• Ensure coding meets quality and productivity standards.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and education initiatives as needed.

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of coding experience, with a focus on neurovascular and/or interventional radiology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to neurology and vascular systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with coding compliance regulations and payer requirements.
