Volunteers of America Western Washington seeks a Crisis Counselor for their 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. This full-time position includes providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services, as well as conducting safety assessments for clients in emotional distress.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in psychology or social work and at least one year of healthcare contact center or mental health counseling experience. Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to work in a team or independently are essential.
