Position Summary
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC) – Madison, Alabama.
Full‑time, exempt. Salary $125,000–$145,000/year.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will participate in an integrated care team model, providing outpatient behavioral health services. Key duties include medication management, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psychological testing as needed. The clinician will develop and customize treatment plans, document clinical care, and collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. Appointment scheduling, patient interaction management, and support for billing, collections, credentialing, and other administrative functions are also responsibilities.
Licensure,Education & Experience
Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado and/or Massachusetts with experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric conditions under the supervision of consulting psychiatrists. New graduates are welcome. Preference for successful PMHNP‑BC certification.
Additional InformationTypical work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Clinicians create custom schedules with no on‑call duties. Telehealth options allow treatment of patients remotely from home.
