Overview

RN or PT - Musculoskeletal (MSK) Care Advocate. The role uses digital and telephonic means to apply a holistic, whole-person health lens, supporting customers with MSK treatment options, insurance benefits, and care programs to achieve proven outcomes.

• Use digital and telephonic technology to coach customers at various stages of their MSK journeys to improve health status, reduce health risks, and enhance quality of life.
• Apply cognitive-behavioral coaching techniques and cultural humility to address barriers and help customers realize their potential.
• Manage the end-to-end customer experience, including:
• Educate customers on the MSK Program and available opportunities.
• Triages needs and responds according to clinical urgency.
• Administer brief assessments to understand history, wellness vision, and goals.
• Assess readiness to change, co-create wellness visions, and help manage goals.
• Empower customers to make informed health care decisions and improve interactions with providers.
• Connect customers with applicable health plan benefits and programs (e.g., physical therapy, behavioral health, pharmacy).
• Support customers through the surgical pathway before, during, and after procedures.
• Address questions about digital engagement and technology use.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, providers, and health plans.
• Maintain seamless digital and telephonic communication, switching as needed to support a consistent experience.
• Independently manage digital alerts, messages, tasks, and telephonic interactions.
• Comply with accreditations, state and federal mandates; complete required training and ongoing education to maintain clinical expertise and certification as appropriate.
• Stay informed on health trends through ongoing learning.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. state or territory or
• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy (PT) license in a U.S. state or territory
• Three years of full-time-equivalent direct clinical care experience; preferred in orthopedics/neurology, acute rehabilitation, or skilled nursing

Hours:

9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST. Shift depends on time zone. Remote work may require a cable broadband or fiber internet connection with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Salary range: $65,600 to $109,400 per year, depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.
