About the Role
New Employee Retention Bonus: $4,000.00
Fully licensed. This position is fully remote, but the selected candidate must reside in a state where Rogers operates: WI, MN, IL, PA, TN, FL, GA, CO, CA, WA, NY, NJ. Must hold licensure in the state of New Jersey.
Therapist 2 – VirtualThe Therapist 2 – Virtual is a 100% fully remote position. The Therapist develops, coordinates, and facilitates all direct social services to patients and their families assigned and performs duties as directed by their manager.
Responsibilities- Work in a virtual setting that includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.
- Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others virtually.
- Provide therapeutic treatment services to the individual, group, family and/or significant others.
- May provide individual treatment sessions with patients as indicated per the program and patient needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed and assess for safety daily.
- Interact with patients, family members, significant others, and referents with respect and dignity.
- Participate in psycho educational support sessions with patients, families, and significant others.
- Provide case management and therapeutic interventions to all assigned patients.
- Serve as patient advocate when a patient has a grievance, following system policy and procedure.
- Adhere to materials provided to ensure clinical effectiveness and consistency.
- Manage patient/family expectations related to services provided.
- Initiate and maintain contact with referring providers, schools (if applicable), and care teams for patients.
- Implement goals and interventions as specified on the Care Plan within the therapeutic component of the patient’s program.
- Ensure goals are SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) and patient‑specific.
- Document progress according to the treatment plan and complete all documentation within the required time.
- Complete admissions documentation and social services admission assessment.
- Conduct suicide risk assessment and collaborate with the treatment team per identified guidelines.
- Complete a safety plan for patients age 12 and under at provider discretion.
- Obtain necessary consent for release of records to access information that will assist in providing treatment or facilitating discharge.
- Complete ongoing treatment documentation according to program guidelines.
- Write clear, concise, collaborative, and obtainable treatment goals for the Treatment Plan.
- Document patient’s treatment status in the medical record daily.
- Complete therapeutic documentation for group treatments, including group description and patient engagement.
- Update the Care Plan goals and interventions as needed.
- Document contact notes for each conversation with outpatient providers, schools, or parents.
- Summarize patient progress and decision making from multidisciplinary team meetings in the master treatment plan each time the patient is officially staffed.
- Report and document suspected cases of physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect according to the law in the state of employment and system policy and procedure.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions.
- Evaluate the outcome of interdisciplinary interventions and modify the Care Plan accordingly.
- Assist with the development and evaluation of treatment needs.
- Participate and/or facilitate interdisciplinary staffing for treatment planning, updating, and progress review.
- Communicate professionally and accurately with all stakeholders.
- Refer to and work with other departments and agencies as needed according to RBH policies.
- Report pertinent data to the attending provider and other team members verbally or in writing.
- Attend and participate in all department meetings virtually, providing feedback concerning departmental or clinical issues.
- Demonstrate a strong interdisciplinary approach and facilitate effective communication among departments.
- Maintain a supportive and collaborative environment with all disciplines.
