Medical Claims Representative - Office​/Hybrid position

Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS) is a national direct‑to‑home medical supply provider. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Claims Representative to join our high‑energy team in Hudson, OH.

• Full‑time, non‑exempt position
• Hybrid remote work potential after training
• Schedule:
  
  8:00 am – 4:45 pm, Monday‑through‑Friday

• Analyze reports on insurance payment differences, appeals, and rebills
• Work with claim denials
• Identify denial trends and suggest process improvements
• Collaborate with claims team and other department managers to solve issues and implement new procedures
• Provide educational support on healthcare products, deductibles, co‑payments, and third‑party reimbursement for customers and employee training

• Self‑starter with ability to work independently to achieve desired results
• Clinical background or medical terminology knowledge helpful but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel; 30 WPM typing speed
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent telephone communication skills
• Good cognitive reasoning ability
  
  Meticulous & thorough work orientation
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a consumer service organization or healthcare environment

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
